The welded nuts are all still firmly attached and appear to have good threads. The blasting process has revealed slight pitting throughout and wear marks from being mounted.

This is a good original headlight header bar for your Corvette, please look at the pictures below. For 1970and 1971there are 3 welded nuts at the of header bar in a shallow v pattern mounting vacuum relay plate used those 2 years.

Starting in 1973 Gm used the late 1969 pattern but welded on ends a reinforcement plate. In early 1969 there is still provisions for 1 vacuum relay but Gm added a welded nut on each end of the bar header to inner fender reinforcement.

The bar has been media blasted and painted black.

All mounting holes are in good condition. The bar appears to be in its factory shape. Correct for Corvettes late 1969 and 1972will work 1968, the 1968 to 1972 headlight header bars do not have plates on ends.

In late 1969 Gm added 2 more welded nuts at the to mount a 2nd vacuum relay valve.
