After removing this pull-down assembly from the car, I jumped it with a hot battery and could not produce any reaction. This part is being sold as is, to be rebuilt, repaired or used for parts. While this part was removed from a '76 coupe de ville, it is likely that Gm used the same on other years and model's as well.

I assume it is dead. The item offered in this offer is a non-working condition trunk lid pull-down motor assembly removed from 1976 Cadillac coupe de ville. When I got this Cadillac, a portion of the trunk latch had been removed and lid would not down correctly.
