To close but not identical. We measured different mustangs in our showroom and no two were exactly the same.

Stock mounting hardware can be used. Our trunk lid will fit any original body panel mustang but slight variances can exist. This is an all hand laid fiberglass trunk lid with built in spoiler and spoiler ed end caps.

All hand laid fiberglass trunk lids require more prep work prior to painting than a steel trunk lid. It is metal reinforced at all mounting points. During development we learned that all 1967 and 1968 mustangs did not have exactly the same clearance or gaps between the trunk lid and the quarter panels and trunk lid and trunk filler panel at the rear window.

The end caps come with the mounting studs but they are purposely not installed.
